Building of residences around prison. Before prison closed nobody wanted to live anywhere near because they would have a Lorton mailing address. Now they will live within feet of the old facility.

Grave of Wm Lindsay, revolutionary War soldier and resident of the area before prison was built. Prison (or DAR) obviously maintained grave site through out its history.
