The George McNeil's Potomac Guild held its monthly meeting on 7 Nov 2006. Our program for the evening was presented by David Todd who gave us a talk on restoration, preservation and conservation of clocks. He and his wife Sheila came up from Kilmarnock for the evening. His talk was actually on his philosophy of restoration based on the years he spent with the Smithsonian Institute and culminated in his description of the restoration he did on behalf of the Smithsonian Institute of a tower clock in Guiana.
